Clients also have the option to pay out of pocket, and receipts can be used for tax deduction purposes in Ontario.

Yes! You do not need a referral from another healthcare provider to book an appointment. Many clients choose to self-refer.
Bloom Nutrition Services is based in Ontario, and Melissa is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. At this time, we offer virtual nutrition counselling to clients across Ontario. If you live in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, you may also be eligible for virtual services. Please contact us directly for the most up-to-date information.

Currently, Registered Dietitians in Ontario do not have independent authority to order laboratory tests for assessing or monitoring nutrition-related conditions. However, they are qualified to interpret laboratory results as part of a comprehensive nutritional assessment and can use this information to develop a personalized nutrition care plan.
